Bangkok Tailor: Nickermann's Blue Blazer

One of my goals whilst in Bangkok was to have some trial clothes made. This Blue Blazer has a nice, heavy lining and I enjoy the fit. Even better - the shopkeepers were always polite, chatty and easy-going. $150 for this blazer was a bit expensive for Bangkok but I'm happy with it. I think I've paid $250 in the U.S. for a similiar off-the-rack.

Nickerman's has two shops in the Landmark Hotel shopping mall. Can get a taxi direct to the hotel lobby and take the elevators to the basement. Or can get off the BTS Skytrain at Nana Station (E3). Check the map for which way to walk. Then go in through steps on the street-side through the coffeeshop into the mall atrium. Then to the basement. Do not go between 5-7pm because the shops is filled with expat women (& their moral support) trying on their dresses. I really wanted to try this shop and ended up having a light meal at the pub whilst waiting for the shop to clear out.

Contact: Nickermann's Boutique 138 Sukhumvit Rd., 10110 Bangkok, Tel: +66-02-252-6682, 252-6692. In two years time, they'll be moving to Asok BTS Station.

Sorry to know that you are on trial. Will the proceedings be held in a Malaysian courtroom? That's a wise idea to invest in some new clothes, to try to make a good impression on the judge. Are you native, or a foreign national? You sound like a businessman. Maybe you could share with your readers some of the intricacies of the Malaysian judicial system from your experience--that would be interesting. Good luck to you.
