F1 Racing, BMW and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel
Every year when auto racing comes to Kuala Lumpur, Auto Bavaria hosts a couple evenings of cocktails and new BMW models inside these large tents at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, KLCC. It's where all the beautiful people go.
Last year I went, but this year I didn't get an invite. I could've asked to go with my co-worker. Instead, I just dropped by to see what it looked like. Actually, I was holding out for some last minute concert tickets for Lionel Richie at the KLCC Convention Centre next door. Aiyoh, not my day, lah - didn't get those either and too cheap to pay RM 900. Anyway, the rain's huge today - better to get home before the traffic really gets bad.
