Salted Chicken n Yams - Hai-O Roses for My Tea
RM 4.50 chicken roasted in salt over a gas stove and RM 5 for four pieces of salted yam. It's cooked outside in a large wok - like cooking chestnuts. At a Chinese herbal shop called www.Hai-O.com.my - picked up RM 6 dried roses for tea. Clerk said to use about a sixth of the packet for 2-3 people. I also was daring and bought this RM 7.50 pre-mixed tea, rose, rock sugar -- okay, lah -- bit sour (hence the sugar). Oh, the bunch of bananas were RM 1.50. How much are bananas where you live?
